In an exciting turn of events, Luca has been selected as one of the official mascots for the highly anticipated Formula 1 race at the iconic Silverstone Circuit, set to take place on July 9th, 2023. Luca's deep-rooted love for motorsport, combined with his infectious enthusiasm and unwavering dedication, has earned him the incredible opportunity to become an integral part of the exhilarating F1 experience at one of the most revered circuits in the world.

A Dream Realized:

Luca's journey from being an ardent Formula 1 fan and a fierce competitor in the WERA Tools UK British Kart Championship to becoming one of the official Gridkids at Silverstone showcases the power of dreams and the rewards of unyielding passion. As a 5-year-old child, Luca was captivated by the world of motorsport, diligently following each race, and idolizing the skillful drivers who pushed the limits of speed and precision.  On his 5th Birthday, he drove a kart for the first time and he was hooked! In his 6th year of competitive Karting, he is well on his way but it is a long road, this opportunity will give him the inspiration needed to continue.

The Selection Process:

F1 asks the hosting countries’ Motorsport Governing body to select 10 Children on merit and then the host circuit holds a lottery for the other 10 Children, Luca was chosen on merit by Motorsport UK following his performance and commitment to the British championship.
