Young Racing Driver Academy

We are looking for a partner to support Luca through the Young Racing Drivers Academy program which will manage his development and progress in the sport.

Young drivers are invited to participate in the YRDA programme on the basis of their ability and temperament following assessment by the YRDA team.

The YRDA generally recruit drivers who are aged between 9 and 18, however, in exceptional circumstances may, at our sole discretion, work with drivers who fall outside this age range.

Each young driver’s long-term goal will be to compete at the pinnacle of international motorsport and they must:

  • Have consistently achieved outstanding results in their motorsport career to date or demonstrate that they have the ability to achieve those results with the YRDA’s support and mentoring; and

  • Be able to demonstrate (taking into account their age) that they have the required level of talent, desire and temperament to benefit from the YRDA programme and perform consistently at the highest level of motorsport.

Run by Jamie Horner and Steve Hutchinson, the YRDA works closely with Arden motorsport and have fantastic connections in the motorsport arena

YRDA’s aim is to identify talented young racing drivers and provide opportunities for those individuals to develop the necessary range of skills, knowledge and level of confidence to fully prepare them to compete to the best of their ability in their chosen feeder series and move towards their ultimate goal of racing in F1 or other categories of professional motorsport.

The YRDA provides a unique set of benefits to each member of the programme. These range from our state of the art YRDA simulator, human performance monitoring, sports science assessments and evaluation. Guidance on the core skill-sets include the following:

•Simulator Driver Coaching

•Presentation Skills and Public Speaking

•Marketing, Branding and Social Media

•Bespoke Motor Racing Fitness and Nutrition

•Optimal Mindset Coaching
